Industrial organisation

The course starts with a survey of the distinguishing features of industrial economy and its theoretical and contextual positioning. The basic concepts, theories, perspectives, and approaches of organisation theory are treated along with the development of organisation theory from industrialism till the present day. Finally, the course covers the role of organisations in society and organisational problems, with a special focus on industrial companies (manufacturing companies).

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
