History and History Teaching 47.5 ECTS credits
The course deals with the emergence of the history education field and its relation to the school subject. Teaching concepts as tools in education are treated along with different conditions for teaching. Practice-related research on teaching, learning and assessment is studied. Students analyse current doctoral theses in the field of History education.
Progressive specialisation: A1N (has only first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)
Education level: Master's level
Admission requirements: HIGL01, HIGL02 and HIGL03.
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
