Gender Studies III
30.0 ECTS creditsThe course comprises three modules.
Module 1. Advanced Gender Studies Theory 3, 7.5 credits
The module addresses central concepts and problems pertaining to the theory development in field of Gender Studies . Students work independently with the support of lectures and seminar discussions.
Module 2. Advanced Gender Studies Analysis, 7.5 credits
The module addresses methodological problems in the field, based on a theory of science perspective. The module introduces concrete research methods and the students work independently on practical exercises in preparation for the degree project.
Module 3. Degree Project, 15 credits
In this module, students conduct a gender-theoretical research project. Students may choose to write about a topic within the scope of another discipline, an interdisciplinary topic, or a topic purely within the field of Gender Studies.
