15.0 ECTS creditsThe course introduces theories and research on the relationship between language, literature, culture, media, and society. It places particular emphasis on cultural negotiations in connection with societal changes across different geographical and historical contexts.
The course consists of the study of theoretical texts, which are discussed and addressed in seminars, as well as through oral and written assignments.

Admission requirements:
90 credits in one of the main fields of study English, Literary Studies, Film Studies, Modern Languages or Linguistics, including at least 30 credits at G2E level. In addition, upper secondary level English 6 or English level 2.An equivalence assessment can be made.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
