Basic programming for technology teachers: Years 7-9
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course covers the following components:
- The basic concepts and building-blocks of programming (including sequence, alternative, conditions, iteration and functions
- Algorithmic thinking and problem solving with the help of programming
- Programming in at least two programming languages
- Programming skills such as creating, testing and troubleshooting program code
- Handling and processing data sets
- Survey of relevant subject-specific education research on applying programming in the subject of technology
- Applying programming in the subject of technology in accordance with national curricula.
