Introduction to Machine Learning3.0 ECTS credits
The course introduces machine learning with a focus on basic machine learning theory. The course provides a basis for continued studies in the field through introducing both classic and deep machine learning and showing how these machine learning technologies are used or can be used in one of the following areas: computer communication, data security and integrity, or software development. Instruction is in the form of lectures, hand-in assignments, and self-study.

Education level: Master's level
Admission requirements: Computer Science 60 ECTS credits (including Software Development 15 ECTS credits and Discrete Mathematics 7.5 credits) or three years of work experience in the IT sector, plus upper secondary level English 6, or equivalent
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
