30.0 ECTS creditsThe course comprises three modules.
Module 1 Dance Pedagogy 2, 15 ECTS cr
- critical review and analysis of the specific terminology, expression and aesthetics of dance from a pedagogical perspective,
- using music and rhythms bodily and verbally in dance teaching
- analysis and discussion of dance techniques and expressivity
- dance assessment
- follow-up and reflection on the role of the dance pedagogue in the bodily and expressive learning processes of dance teaching.
Module 2 Dance Theory, 7.5 ECTS cr
- definition and history of some dance genres
- dance analytical components and their importance to artistic dance projects and critical descriptions related to the dance subject.
Module 3 Artistic Independent Project, 7.5 ECTS cr
- minor independent artistic and research project
- supervision.

Admission to VAL and at least 15 ECTS credits of Complementary Dance Pedagogy 1 (DAGKP1) or equivalent
