Module 2 Professional dance teaching (7.5 ECTS cr)
- General pedagogy in relation to dance pedagogy
- The dance pedagogue's work environment, pioneership, professional ethics in relation to a school setting
- Anatomy, alternative training methods and nutrion in relation to dance and dance instruction
Module 3 The role of music in dance (7.5 ECTS cr)
- Musical rendition in dance
- Relation between choreography and music in dance creation.
- Principles of dance instruction and exercises
- Foundations of dance, instruction methods, teaching content and progression for different proficiency levels and groups
- Planning, conducting, evaluating and following up dance instruction
