Dance teaching democracy

Students learn about different pathways to integrating a democratic perspective in dance teaching through literature, lectures, seminars and workshops. In relation to the tradition of artistic dance, concepts such as views of the human being and knowledge, body, apprenticeship, freedom to act, participation, diversity and equality are discussed. The concepts are explored, concreticised and problematised in relation to dance teaching. Students carry out their own dance teaching project and a survey of participants' experiences.
Progressive specialisation: G2F (has at least 60 credits in first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)
Education level: Undergraduate level
Admission requirements: General admission requirements and at least one year of full-time dance studies and one year of dance pedagogical experience
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
