Environmental values and ethics
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course focuses on philosophical concepts and ethical perspectives on human approaches to nature. The course includes study and seminars dealing with different perspectives on ethical considerations regarding environmental issues. Differences between anthropocentric and alternative value systems are analysed and evaluated, and the role of environmental ethics in the development of sustainable societies is explored.

30 ECTS credits completed in the first semester of the Master Programme: Environmental and Sustainability Education, plus upper secondary level English 6, or equivalent
