Designing quantitative research in environmental and sustainability education
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course aims for students to develop practical knowledge and skills related to statistical design and data analysis. The course covers quantitative design, data collection, and data analysis. More specifically, the course treats different descriptive statistical measurements, methods for statistical significance analysis, factor analysis methods, and ethical positions relevant for investigations that involve humans in environmental and sustainability contexts. Instruction is provided through a web-based virtual learning environment. Instruction is in the form of lectures, seminars, and individual exercises.
