From knowledge to action - whole institution approaches to environmental and sustainability education
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course treats different perspectives on sustainability issues and how different perspectives can be applied in learning processes. The course also covers various practices of and approaches to environmental and sustainability education and problematises and discusses key competencies for sustainable development. The definitions and implementations of so-called whole institution approaches to environmental and sustainability education are included, and the visions, strategies, and implementation methods of various stakeholders in society are analysed and evaluated.
