Data driven service innovation
This course will provide you with increased knowledge of data-driven service innovation and how you can work with, and use, systematic collection of user data as a basis for service development and innovation.

- Introduction to data driven service innovation - what is service innovation
- User data collection - what type of data and how is it processed
- Analysing, understanding and utilizing data
- Integrity and privacy
EXAMINATION
Examination of the learning outcomes will be done through written and oral assignments, which you present and discuss at seminars.
ABOUT THE COURSE
In the course, theory and practice are being alternated as well as working actively with assignments and being active in lectures and discussions with lecturers and other course participants. The course is at advanced level, gives 5 ECTS credits. The course is location independent and distance based, and held via Canvas, Karlstad University's learning platform.

PREREQUISITES
90 ECTS credits completed in social, behavioural, or natural science, including at least 30 ECTS credits at the G2F level or higher, at least 2 years of relevant work experience, and upper secondary level English 6 or A, or equivalent.
