Colloquium: Secure and Privacy-Preserving Vehicular Communication in VANETs
SPEAKER: Mahdi Akil (Ph.D. student in computer science at Karlstad University)
In this talk, we will explore the challenges and solutions to enhance security and privacy in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs). We will discuss an innovative approach designed to secure vehicle-to-Vehcile (V2V) communications and protect sensitive data, while maintaining the privacy of the driver. Our presentation will provide insights into the importance of securing connected vehicular systems and the potential impact on traffic management and the future of transportation.
Everybody is welcome, and as always, attending this colloquium may score points to Ph.D. students.
