Castellón week
Castellon was held March 2nd - 6th in Castellon de la Plana, Spain

First day
The Spanish delegation picked up the other delegates at the hotel for departure to the university. Once there, Rector Inmaculada Rodríguez Moya and Vice Rector Camacho Cuena welcomed everybody to Castellón. After that, the Spanish students had prepared a presentation of Spain and Castellón, the food, culture, music and history. A tour of the university ended with lunch. In the afternoon, a lecture was given by Professor Luis Martinez Chafer "How to enhance your Creative capabilities."
The second day
On Tuesday, it was time for the first assignment. The company Naymar works with telecommunications and focuses on manufacturing and installing elevators. The assignment given to the students was "find a product that is not yet smart". The winning team presented the proposal for smart tires that adapt to temperature and surface.
Third day
Day three offered a fabulous trip to the village of VilaFamés. But before that, a visit was scheduled to CEDES, Vall d´Alba. Castellon's Europe Direct Office. CEDES became the second task owner but what was not announced during the visit.
Vilafamés is a village full of history and beautiful surroundings. The day ended with a visit to Naymar and their, to say the least, different office.
Fourth day
CEDES was the client on Thursday and the challenge was about how the region should make people stay in the Castellon area. Solutions were about everything from healthcare, to tax breaks for people who choose to move to the area. The evening ended with a joint dinner with all singing and lovely togetherness. A cloud in the sky was the threat of the Corona virus and its impact on the closing part of CRE8 Europe in Hamar in May.
The fifth day
All the students got to see each other's pitches. Amazing progress has been made in the students' presentation technique after six completed CRE8s.
