CCS mentioned in Times of India

The Centre for Climate and Safety Director Mikael Granberg has just returned from travelling in India. The purpose of the journey was to create new, and develop existing, collaborations with universities in India, research environments and researchers in CCS field of research: climate related risks and effects of climate change.

Mikael did research presentations and met researchers, teachers and students at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh in Dharamsala. Mikael also presented at the Malaviya Centre for Peace Research (MCPR) at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi, a university with which Karlstad University has had a more than 25-year long collaboration.
The presentation in Varanasi on the theme ”Climate change policy and practice: the Swedish experience” was highlighted in a Times of India article on the 3 November, 2015.
