About The Health Research School
The Graduate School of Health has the ambition to offer a strong and creative graduate education environment in a larger context than any individual subject can offer. Activities within the graduate school shall strengthen the quality and content of supervision and education and be seen as resources for our doctoral students and also include study social activities.
Health research is a multifaceted field that requires collaboration between different scientific expertise from multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. New knowledge is often developed largely at the interface between different scientific disciplines and traditions.
The subjects included in the graduate school currently primarily offer their own graduate courses. Some courses have been coordinated and partially integrated, including those concerning methods and certain theme courses, as well as interdisciplinary seminars and workshops.
The graduate school offers an opportunity for students from subjects within the health field who do not have a graduate degree in their subject to be admitted as a doctoral student in one of the subjects included in the graduate school, after examination of whether the advanced level degree is equivalent.
As a doctoral student, you are welcome to participate in the graduate school's activities when you have an area that relates to health.
