BioEco Valley Summit 2026
16-18 June
BioEco Valley Summit 2026 is held on 16-18 June.
A global forum for transitioning to a sustainable circular bioeconomy with a forestry focus.
Join us at the BioEco Valley Summit, 16–18 June 2026, built on the success of our November 2024 event. This summit unites researchers, companies, and startups focused on pioneering material solutions, products, and processes for a circular bioeconomy. Organized by Karlstad University’s
Pro2BE research environment, in collaboration with Paper Province, Sting Bioeconomy, Karlstad Municipality, and Region Värmland. Expect a lineup of top-tier speakers and attendees from leading research institutions and nations, business-to-business meetings, and interactive poster sessions. Additionally, site visits to world-class testbeds and research environments, along with guided regional tours, will enhance your conference experience.
This year’s theme, Lignin, Fibers & Optimized Circular Processes, focuses on the advancement of biobased materials and circular value chains. As a premier forum for startups and researchers, the summit serves as a launchpad for scientific exchange and early-stage innovation in lignin valorization and process optimization.
Program Highlights
The three-day event features high-profile keynotes, interactive roundtables, and a poster session designed to foster collaboration. Participants are also invited to exclusive study visits at Biosorbe and LignoCity.
