Signals and Systems

Basic theory of continuous-time signals and systems. Fourier transform and Laplace transform. Sampling. Basic theory of discrete-time signals and systems. Z-transformation. Transfer functions, poles, zeros and stability. Spectral representation, frequency response and Bode plot. Filtration. Examples of applications within electrical engineering.
Progressive specialisation: G1F (has less than 60 credits in first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)
Education level: Undergraduate level
Admission requirements: ELGA01 Curcuit Analysis 7.5 ECTS cr, ELGA02 Digital Electronics 7.5 ECTS cr, MAGA46 Mathematics for Engineers II 7.5 ECTS cr and MAGA47 Mathematics for Engineers III, or equivalent.
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
