Annual report 2019
2019 was an active and successful year for researchers within SMEER. Several large projects have been completed and others started up during the year, including large research grants from the Swedish Research Council, which includes collaboration with researchers from Germany. SMEER researchers have taken great responsibility for teacher education, not least for the initiative towards postgraduate teachers (KPF). Within the doctoral program, a doctoral student and a licentiate have successfully defended their thesis and SMEER researchers have actively participated in the development of the new doctoral school KÄKK, as well as recruiting new doctoral students through the doctoral school LicFontD. In February, a writing seminar was arranged where all researchers in SMEER were invited. International guest researchers have visited SMEER. In summary, it can be said that the center education well fulfills its goals of conducting nationally and internationally recognized research with relevance to schools and teacher education.
