# Vishnu Raveendran

## Research

<p><em>The primary topic for my project is " <span class="underline">Homogenization and dimension reduction of heterogeneous thin membranes for a setting involving reaction-diffusion equations with nonlinear angled operations</span> ". Essentially, we investigate the weak solubility of the problem and derive the effective model equations by performing the periodic homogenization simultaneously with the dimension reduction.</em></p>

<p><em>Other important questions that we investigate concern corrector estimates, multiscale approximations, and search for improved hybrid models. </em></p>

## Bio

<p>I graduated in 2018 from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Center for Applicable Mathematics, Bangalore, India with Mathematics as a specialization.</p>
