Research
My historical-sociological research focuses on how racism, nationalism, and political action are shaped through different understandings of time. I am currently engaged in three research projects: everyday racism in Swedish secondary schools, the birth of Swedish fascism, and the Swedish Pentecostal movement’s relation to christian sionism and antisemitism.
Teaching
I teach sociological theory and method at all academic levels.
Collaboration
I have conducted research for public agencies and civil society organizations on issues of racism, and I regularly disseminate my findings through popular science publications in the media.
Bio
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Global Development (2007), a Master’s degree in International Relations (2009), a PhD in Economic History (2017), and an Associate Professorship in Sociology (2022).
