Teaching
I continuously teach on undergraduate and advanced levels in Media and Communication studies. The teaching mainly revolves around visual culture, digital culture, interactivity, design, and design methodology.

Research
My research addresses the relationship between place and media and revolves around media practices and media design, with focus on cultural and creative industries and the tourism industry. My research is conducted in an interdisciplinary setting together with researchers from Human geography, Tourism studies, and Business administration. Our studies are often conducted in collaboration with public and private organizations, and are preferably practice-oriented and in co-creation. I have since 2013 in different ways been involved in the strategic and executive work of developing the center for Geomedia studies.

Research Advisor
In my role as a research advisor, I focus on strategic activites, building research environments, and collaboration with the surrounding society. My role is to strengthen the opportunities for research funding and environmental development for individual researchers and research environments, as well as to identify national and international collaborations.

My continuous collaboration with public and private actors and my experiences as a research advisor, has allowed me to become:
