My research interests focus on science education, specifically investigating inquiry-based science education, the Nature of Scientific Inquiry (NOSI), and the Nature of Science (NOS) within the context of Swedish lower secondary science education (grades 7–9).
Bio
I bring over a decade of international science teaching experience across both the Singaporean and Swedish education systems. As a former recipient of Singapore Ministry of Education Teaching Scholarship, I taught Biology, Chemistry, and General Science for six years in Singapore secondary schools, where I led curriculum coordination and EdTech initiatives. In Sweden, I have taught Science, Biology, and Chemistry across lower secondary school and high school for five years and served as a förstelärare (lead teacher) at Internationella Engelska Skolan Liljeholmen. I also represented Sweden as a delegate at the European Science on Stage festival 2026 in Lithuania, presenting inquiry-based STEM pedagogy.
