My research concerns the uses of nostalgia and history within swedish preparedness and psychological defense, with an emphasis on how nostalgia has been used to help create, influence and strenghten the civic spirit.

I was awarded the award for Best media historic essay for my master thesis 'Thou Old, Thou Safe, Thou Free' by the Swedish Media History Association in 2024.
