My research studies civil defence films in Sweden during the Cold War period, and how these films and the organizations behind them sought to strenghten the Swedish peoples civic spirit and will to defend the nation.
Bio
I was awarded the award for Best media historic essay for my master thesis 'Thou Old, Thou Safe, Thou Free' by the Swedish Media History Association in 2024.
I was also awarded the Humanities Award for Historical Research from the Gamla Norrköping foundation in 2025.
