Since 2015, Annika Norell has pursued research on children and adolescents’ mental health, and continued her research into the mechanisms and treatments of insomnia.
Annika Norell Clarke has taught courses on the psychologist programme and other courses in psychology at Karlstad University, Kristianstad University and Örebro University.
Annika is affiliated with Kristianstad University and is one of the driving forces in the network "Sleep and Health" which published the journal "Sömn och Hälsa" (Swedish only) on Swedish sleep research.
Annika Norell is a licensed psychologist, with a doctorate in psychology.
She earned her psychologist degree in 2008 and received her psychologist licence in 2010. On graduating, she combined clinical psychologist work at Örebro County Council with doctoral studies at Örebro University. In October 2014, she defended her doctoral thesis, titled “Cogito, ergo insomnis: I think therefore I am sleepless”.
