My main research interest is within cancer and inflammation. With different molecular biology techniques I study how inflammatory reactions affect patient symptom, and cancer emergence and progression as well as how microorganisms can affect pro- and anti-inflammatory reactions. I also use molecular biology techniques in ecological research with fish fysiology focus.
I teach cell biology, molecular biology methodology, microbiology, infectious diseases and immunology. I supervise degree projects and doctoral students.
Master degree in Biology (Molecular biology) and PhD in Immunology. I am Associate professor (docent) in Medical Science.
