Collaboration around the subject of psychology
The psychology faculty have developed a way of working to collaborate with companies, organizations, and public actors. The foundation is a common area of interest and a mutual exchange of knowledge and experience.

External actors contribute with practical knowledge, competence, and perspectives from different activities. At the university, we have theoretical knowledge and an academic perspective. Through the collaboration with practitioners, the quality of the new methods, working methods, and innovations that we come up with increases. The exchange also enriches our education. In both cases, it is important to know where you stand and to have integrity.
Different regions are natural partners and also private healthcare companies. Several doctoral students are employed both at the university and in a region or a healthcare company. In this way, the ties and knowledge transfer are strengthened. Examples of joint discussions are staff supply in the future and how the users themselves can come in with their perspectives and experiences.
