Open access deal - PLOS
PLOS is a non-profit publisher that only publishes fully open journals, mainly in the sciences and medicine. The deal is funded by Forte, Formas, Vetenskapsrådet and Vinnova and offers KAU researchers open access publishing at no cost in any PLOS journal.
CC-licenses and article types
Articles are published with the Creative Commons license CC-BY 4.0. The agreement covers all article types.
Workflow
To benefit from the agreement you need to be the corresponding author and use your KAU email address. At submission, in the step "Additional information" choose the alternative "My institution will fully pay" under the heading "Publication fee".
