Open access deal - Pensoft Publishers
Pensoft Publishers is a publisher founded 1992 in Bulgaria. Pensoft publishes ca 60 science journals. The deal, valid through 2026, is funded by Forte, Formas, Vetenskapsrådet and Vinnova and offers KAU researchers open access publishing at no cost in 57 Pensoft journals.
CC-licenses and publication types
All articles are published with a CC BY license. The deal covers all publication types that requires a publishing fee.
Workflow
Manuscripts are managed in the publisher’s Arpha system.
- When submitting your manuscript, it is important that you, as the corresponding author, use your KAU email address and state your KAU affiliation.
- You should then select the option:
“I have a special agreement via direct contact with the journal prior to submission to receive a full or partial fee waiver for this submission”
and in the field below inform the editor:
“This paper will be covered by the National Library of Sweden institutional deposit.” - Once the article has been accepted, you will receive a pro forma invoice, which can be “paid” by using the code provided. You should select “Institutional deposit” as the payment method and enter the code in the designated field.
- You will then receive a copy of the receipt.
