RETAKE – knowledge that promotes more sustainable events
The research project Retake aims to demonstrate how rotation systems for reusable glasses, mugs, plates and cutlery can contribute to better customer experiences, increased sustainability, reduced litter and lower costs for cleaning and waste.
Emma Spak (MD., Ph.D) is a county councilor (länsråd) at the county board in Värmland. Emma was the head of the section for health care at Sweden's Municipalities and Regions (SKR) organization, where she had extensive responsibility for operational cooperation with the Government Office, authorities, and representatives of municipalities and regions. Emma will share her vast knowledge and experience in working with different sustainability and societal issues. She will also present her work and engagement in implementing Agenda 2030 in Värmland County. Emma is a doctoral researcher and has worked as a medical doctor in primary care.
Dick Johansson is a board member and senior advisor at Klässbol Linneväveri. Dick is the third generation in this more than 100 years old family business. He started to work as a weaver, and during his years in the company he mainly worked in sales and marketing and was CEO for many years. Dick will share his extensive experience on how to stay as a sustainable business and his engagement with developing a sustainable and responsible company. He will also share the role of design and resource base in the expansion of the business over the years. Dick has worked with the company for 59 years.
Sustainability Day is held in English. This hybrid event is free of charge, but registration is required.
