Visit from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart, May 24-25
2016-05-25Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart (Duale Hochschule Baden Württemberg in German and DHBW for short) visited us during a couple of days to discuss future Erasmus exchanges for our students studying ERP and Economy and Webb and Multimedia.
On the 24th and 25th of May professors Kai Holzweißig and Thomas Kessel from DHBW visited the Information System department to get acquainted with the department before future Erasmus exchanges. During these two days they visited our students and presented themselves and their course selection. The "Duale" means that the students are hired by a company at the programme start and then do 3 months of practical work on the companies 1-2 times per year. When the student's graduate after 3 years, 80% stays at their companies while the remaining 20% either goes for a masters degree or goes to another company - 0% unemployment after graduation!
Among the courses that DHBW offers you can find for example System Analysis and System Design, Information Technology Service Management, International Social Media Marketing and Digital Storytelling and 3D Modeling and Animation, As an exchange student you also have the opportunity to take a course in the German language.
