Seminar September 14: Better sound environment in office landscapes
2016-09-14Martin Ljungdahl presents results from a research project conducted jointly by University Väst and Konstfack (after defending his Magister thesis 1PM about the development method in this project).
The research project is about the effects of a sound system where unwanted sounds a reduced and "good" sounds from the environment is enhanced by digital technology.
Martin Ljungdahl bases his presentation on three of the five papers that this project has produced:

Article 3 Sound bubbles for productive office work
presented at a Scandinavian conference on information systems. Based on an implementation study in offices at Volvo.
Article 4 The Sound Bubble: An Aesthetic Additive Design Approach to Actively Enhance Acoustic Office Environments
presented at Sound and Music Computing Conference i Hamburg on 2nd September, but will not be brought up in the seminar in Karlstad.
Article 5. The Sound Bubble: a context-sensitive space in the space
Martin highlights the importance to work interdisciplinary.
