Instrument lending
Musikhögskolan Ingesund has musical instruments that students can borrow during the academic year. The instrument loan service works much like a library.

With us, for example, you can borrow various wind and string instruments, parts of drum sets (such as cymbals, timpani, and pedals), electric guitars and basses, acoustic guitars, electric pianos and synthesizers, sound recording equipment (Zoom), cables, amplifiers, certain accessories (such as straps, mutes, bows, mouthpieces, etc.).
Loan rules for instrument lending
Only students and employees at the Ingesund School of Music may borrow from the instrument lending service. The person borrowing the instrument is responsible until the return is completed. Loans can only be made when the responsible for the instrument lending service are present. The loan period is four weeks. For loans for practice teaching purposes, the loan can be extended as needed. Renewal can be done online in the library catalog if the instrument is not reserved. The borrower is responsible for the instrument being in the same condition at return as at loan. Certain accessories, such as reeds, cleaning cloth, plectrum, etc., are not available for loan. The borrower is responsible for acquiring these accessories. The school’s insurance applies in the school’s premises. It also applies in other premises if it is in connection with concerts organized by the school. To borrow particularly valuable instruments, a certificate is required, which can be obtained at the instrument lending service. You and your teacher fill in this certificate. All borrowed instruments must be returned before the end of the academic year in June.
What happens if you do not return your borrowed instrument/music accessory on time?
You will receive a demand via email. A personal demand letter is sent to you. You will receive an invoice where the value of the instrument determines the amount to be paid.
