Local test (LI-test) in Rhythmic and improvised music
Applicants to main instrument or vocal in the rhythmical and improvised genre are required to partake in the local entrance test (L-test) by submitting videos of themselves playing. (Updated April 8)
The genre specialisation Ri – rhythmic and improvised music corresponds to what was previously called the Afro-American or jazz genre at Ingesund. Ri includes, for example, jazz, blues, funk, pop, rock and soul. The common denominator for Ri music is that it builds on improvised rhythmical interplay and individual development of improvisation and musical communication in a group.
