Each year, the business and economics students at Karlstad Business School, award a particularly skilled teacher the Teacher of the Year Award. This year's award goes to Tony Edman of Business Administration. This was announced at the Key Job Fair fest banquet on Wednesday the 28th of November.
Karlekon, the student association for business administration and economics, give the award Theacher of The Year to an engaged, skillful and dedicated teacher every year. This year it was Tony Edman of Business Administration who was awarded. The students' motivation is as follows:
"Through stories with a personal touch, he creates not only an inspiring study environment, but clarifies the essential connection between theory and practice. His competence and enthusiasm engage us students and he shows a high ambition in transferring his knowledge in a very pedagogical way. Teacher of the Year 2018 brings great joy to the lecture halls."
Tony Edman, who was unable to attend the ceremony himself, is happy to receive the award and sends his thank you to the students.
- Students, I am immensely honoured to be awarded Teacher of the Year by you. This is really your award, because you are the ones who encourage and spur me with your questions and interesting views. I learn from you continously and and you help me develop my pedagogical vocation even further for the future. Thank you all those who voted on me.
