- It is incredibility exciting and an honor of course. The book would never have been made without such a fine collaboration among many different researchers. The fact that Jan and myself had the opportunity to contribute with a chapter each with a co-author each, also feels like an acknowledgment to the competence within working life science here in Karlstad, says Ann Bergman.
The motivation of the jury is as follow:
“For an extensive basic book that takes on the task to describe the connection between work and welfare in Sweden. Nearly 30 authors have made a joint effort to create a comprehensive picture that moves from individual level, via organization/mesolevel to societal level. The book is filled with new and sometimes different perspectives that set a good foundation for seminars and deep discussions in the programme. An important book that contributes with knowledge in a form that is exciting and also challenges and makes the student think for themselves.
