The Eva and Henry Scholarship Foundation for Undergraduate and Master’s Students
Three scholarships of SEK 50.000 each are awarded to undergraduate and advanced level students for a stay in a non-Swedish-speaking environment for activities related to the studies.
The scholarship is open to applications only for students with an entrepreneurial spirit at Karlstad University who study science or technology, and have some element of economics in their studies. The application period is 1 - 31 March.
Preference is given to students registered in Värmland, but students registered in other regions can also be considered.
The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage students to stay abroad for study-related activities.
Examples of projects that may qualify for a scholarship:
- Studies at another university abroad
- Collection of data abroad for thesis work/dissertation
- Practical placement / traineeship / internship (VFU) abroad
The application must be individual and relate to a defined project.
The application must contain:
- Extract from the national registration register from the Swedish Tax Agency, where your national registration details are clearly shown
- Personal letter with justification for the scholarship applied for related to the purpose of the scholarship
- CV / résumé
- Official Transcript of Records (Ladok)
- Certificate from teacher/supervisor at Karlstad University describing the student's diligence and achievements
- Certificate from the contact person or contact persons in the host country that the exchange will take place (may be an email, a confirmation of the exchange, or similar documentation showing that the exchange is going to take place)
- Project plan with description of the project for which the scholarship is intended to be used, including budget
Incomplete or late applications will not be processed. Documents that belong to the application must be attached as attachments.

The application must reach The Scholarship Committee no later than 31 March .
A balanced assessment of the application is carried out based on the following criteria:
- Previous study results in the field the scholarship refers to
- Feasibility of the proposed project
- Connection to the purpose and background of the scholarship
Decisions on scholarships are made by the Scholarship Committee, which includes a student representative.
