Internship: Bachelor´s Programme in Political Science
30.0 ECTS creditsThe practical training will be designed so as to meet the needs of the students and the workplace. The students should participate actively in everyday work tasks in order to acquire an understanding of the handling of cases, decision-making, planning and investigatory work, information work, budget and accounting work, as well as documentation. Students are responsible for finding a practical placement that can offer relevant supervision, and acquiring the approval of the course coordinator. The practical placement period comprises 20 weeks.
Students and supervisors together set up a plan for the practical training in which the above-mentioned guidelines are taken into consideration. During the trainee period, students will be given the opportunity to carry out their practice assignments following special instructions. Assignments are completed individually and reported in writing as well as orally in a final seminar.
