Master Thesis in Political Science
30.0 ECTS creditsStudents carry out a study and present it in the form of an academic essay or a public inquiry or evaluation of around 50 to 75 pages. The topic and methodological approach are chosen independently by the student in consultation with the supervisor. The study is an independent project.
Instruction is in the form supervision, individual and/or in groups and joint seminars.
Supervision is only provided for the duration of the course. Reregistered students are offered supervision if circumstances permit.

Admission requirements:
Political science 90 ECTS cr, including independent project 15 ECTS cr at Bachelor's level and courses in political science at Master's level totalling 45 ECTS cr, including a methods course of 15 ECTS cr. Upper secondary Swedish 3 od B, or Swedish as a second language 3 or B, or equivalent. Upper secondary level English 6 or B or equivalent.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
