7.5 ECTS creditsThe aim of the course is to provide an introduction to the special education field and different approaches to and perspectives on diversity and variation in pedagogical contexts, The following topics are treated:
- central concepts in the field of special education
- special education from historical and social perspectives
- international and national directives and policy documents relating to the field of special education
- students' own attitudes to special education issues
- ethical and democratic perspectives on special education practices.
