Master thesis in social work
30.0 ECTS creditsStudents write a master's thesis and develop their abilities to use theories and methods in social work when analysing a chosen problem. Instruction is in the form of supervision and seminars. The thesis is discussed in a seminar where students defend their own thesis and serve as a peer reviewer of a fellow-student's thesis. Supervision is only provided for the course duration. Reregistered students are offered additional supervision if circumstances permit.

Admission requirements
Bachelor's degree in social care or social work (180 ECTS cr) plus 30 ECTS cr at Master level in social work/social care studies, including including social science methodology 15 ECTS cr, or equivalent.
Upper secondary level Swedish 3 or B/Swedish as a second language 3 or B and English 6 or B, or equivalent
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
