Module 1 Economic conditions II
- basic economics perspective on society with an emphasis on macroeconomic theory is presented and problematised,
- sustainable development is discussed from an economic perspective,
- the economics perspective is related to the concept society by means of subject-specific teaching theories and theories on identity formation, with applications,
Module 2 Political ideas and institutions
- a basic political science perspective on society is presented and problematised,
- political ideas and ideologies are presented and problematised,
- the Swedish political system is presented from a democratic and institutional perspective and compared with other national and international political systems,
- the political science perspective is related to the concept society by means of subject-specific teaching theories and theories on identity formation, with applications.
Module 3 The present world
- an international perspective on politics and society is presented and problematised
- subject-specific teaching issues are discussed in relation to sustainable development.
