Migration, Culture and Communication
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course aims to display and create understanding of issues relating to religion and culture, norms and values, ethnicity and identity, as well as socialisation. The role of language on the socialisation process is emphasised. The migration process and refugeeship is treated in terms of social and psychological perspectives. The module also treats the organisation of the reception and education of newly arrived pupils. The content is based on considerations related to the linguistically and heterogeneous environments in and out of school.
