Scientific method III

The course covers:
  • information search using databases and various methods
  • abstracts for scientific research papers
  • scientific research paper
  • seminar discussion and review of the collection, processing, and analysis of data
  • opposing and defending a research paper
Instruction is in the form of independent study, tutorials, pair work, and seminars.

Progressive specialisation: G2F (has at least 60 credits in first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)
Education level: Undergraduate level
Admission requirements: General admission requirements. Additional requirements: a nursing licence issued by the Swedish Social Welfare Agency plus satisfactory completion of at least 67.5 credits in Nursing (level III), including 7.5 credits in Theory of Science and Research Methods II or the equivalent.
Selection: Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
