Degree project - Intensive Care
15.0 ECTS creditsInstruction is in the form of literature study, supervision, and seminars. Supervision is normally offered to pairs or groups of students, and takes place either online or in connection with on-campus meetings.
The degree project is a research study with relevance to intensive care nursing and is carried out as a systematic literature study or as an empirical study.
A project plan (PM) is created based on the chosen area of research and an information search in databases, and includes a description of the chosen scientific method and research ethical considerations. The degree project is reported in writing based on the research process and concluded through seminars where students perform as writers and peer reviewers.
Supervision is provided for the duration of the course. Reregistered students are only offered supervision if circumstances permit.

Admission requirements:
Admission to a Specialist Nursing programme with a specialisation in Intensive Care, or a Specialist Nursing degree of 60 ECTS credits, including a degree project of at least 15 ECTS credits, corresponding to a Bachelor degree in Nursing, and Research methods (7.5 ECTS credits) at the Master level, plus upper secondary level Swedish 3 or Swedish as a second language 3 and English 6 or A, or equivalent

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
