15.0 ECTS creditsInstruction is in the form of literature study, supervision and seminars. Supervision is provided individually, in pairs, or in a group and may be webbased or in connection with on-campus meetings. Supervision is always provided individually in the final phase.
The degree project is a research study with clear relevance to nursing in primary health care and is carried out as a systematic literature study or as an empirical study.
Students draw up a project plan on the basis of their chosen research ares and information searches in databases. The project plan includes a description of a chosen research method and ethical considerations. The degree project is carried out as a written work structured on the research process.

Admission requirements
Admission to a Specialist Nursing Programme, or Specialist Nursing Degree 60 ECTS cr, including a degree project of at least 15 ECTS cr, corresponding to a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent, and research methods, 7.5 ECTS cr at Master's level, or equivalent.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
