Practical Placement in Surveying Technology and Geographical IT
15.0 ECTS creditsThe course gives students the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice within the scope of their specialisation.
The course comprises a period of placement in a company or organisation relevant to students' field of expertise. The placement shall include varying tasks and the opportunity to have insight into business operations.
Students are assigned a local supervisor and are expected to stay in touch with their local supervisor and the course teacher throughout the course.
At the end of the course, students present a report in oral and written form.
Students are expected to find and apply for a suitable practical placement. Students submit a description of the work involved to the teacher for approval.
