- drawing up a plan for the components of an EIA process for a specific energy system (preferably district heating and/or biofuel-based), chosen by the student and teacher in conjunction,
- a specialisation assignment in which the student conducts and documents parts of the plan, selected by the teacher, in the form of an EIA.

Admission requirements:
Completed course EMGA54 Environmental Impact Assessment, 7.5 ECTS cr or equivalent. Completed first-cycle courses totalling at least 60 ECTS cr including at least 15 ECTS cr in energy engineering, environmental science or social and spatial planning, or at least one year relevant work experience, or equivalent.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
