Music and Sound Production 2
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course comprises three modules.
Module 1
This module includes basic training in ear-based accompaniment as well as studies in the colourings of harmonic functions.
Module 2
In this module, students work in level-based groups to practice notating and reproducing rhythms, melodies, and chords. Additional tasks include composing and arranging music under different conditions, and exploring music history from different perspectives.
Module 3
This module provides an overview of equipment and methods for audio transmission during stage performances, including Front of House and monitor system setups, signal chain configuration, safety considerations, basic electrical theory, troubleshooting and simple maintenance, plus practical exercises and supervised teaching in music production.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
